I just updated the User guide in the Books app to the current one and it reads
fine.

Two thoughts.

I always check to make sure that screen recognition is not on.

Then, try rebooting the phone after closing all apps out of the app switcher.

Subject: the books app that comes on an iphone

I have normally removed the books app from my phones because I have so many
other sources for books. I decided to look something up about IOS 17.4 and
thought I could do it in this app in the IOS 17.4 user guide. I reinstalled
the app and discovered that when I open the user guide all that VO can see is
the back button. The rest of the screen appears blank.

Has anyone else noticed this? Am I doing something wrong or not doing
something I should to use this app?

Thanks.
