I just looked in the dropbox app and I'm sorry to say that they do not offer
an option to delete notifications. You can mark them as read.
I sent a notice to dropbox alerting them to this ommission.

Touch in the status bar area where it shows the time and your battery
level. Swipe down with 3-fingers to get to notifications.
swipe right to the notification you wish to remove then flick up with 1
finger and double tap cvlear
