Hi Ben, just as an aside, are you using Jaws? If so and if you use the default sound card for Jaws, the screen refresh command, Jaws Key + Escape, will unmute any accidently muted default soundcard and set volume to something in the middle in case it was just vlolume which got turned way down.

I told it I had muted the volume on my computer and that it was running Windows 10, which is something I've used the answer desk to resolve in the past. It gave me a series of keys to press that would supposedly unmute the volume but they were completely incorrect - not even close in fact. It also made some references to what my screen reader should be saying as I pressed them (also totally wrong), seemingly not realising that if my volume was muted I wouldn't be able to hear it talking which is why it's such a tricky issue to resolve in the first place. I then asked it what the hotkeys were to change the speed of Narrator. It got those wrong as well. I'm glad that talking to a human is still possible. As an aside, my experience is that the answer desk are always more than willing to help you navigate the UEFI/BIOS, in fact that's the main thing I use the service before. Just recently they helped me make a change to a RAID array and make a small tweak to some memory timings. It really is an incredible service. Cheers, Ben.
