But then every time you launch a Google app it will drive you crazy saying you
need to enable two factor authentication.

Joseph, I did everything but that! That was honestly the last thing I even
thought about, which is silly. I forgot you could turn that off, since I’m
generally conscious of security and such.

  Thank you, sir!

Hi Jim and all, if you have a device, that's already signed into Google. If
you go onto your account options, and go in and turn off two step verification,
this will fix the problem you're having.

    Hi everyone,

Here’s an interesting issue I’m not able to work around, and I’ve tried a
few things.

I upgraded to the new iPhone 15 Pro at the end of September, and I really
like how it’s working.

I tried signing into YouTube TV on my app. I had to sign into my google
account. When I entered my password, it went to a new Two-step Authentication
process, which doesn’t seem to work at all. It told me to open the google app
and tap “yes” on a message that would pop up. I also noticed that if I told it
to “re-send”, the button was unavailable. That’s what VoiceOver said.\

There was nothing in the google app when I opened itup. Then again, I
hadn’t signed into my google account there yet. I thought perhaps it would work
better if I actually signed into my google account on the google app. It did
the same thing. I was signing up, and it told me to open my google app and tap
something there. It’s weird and hard to open an app that you’re already trying
to sign into for a two-step authentication.

Now, in the two-step process, there was another option to get the code or
message a different way, so I tried doing that and choosing to get a
verification code by text via my phone. However, I was told that the option was
unavailable because there were stronger ways of signing in, and it basically
took me back to getting the message from the actual Google app.

Oh, I also tried signing into Google using Safari, and it gave me the same
message about opening the Google app and tapping on something in that message.

So basically, I’m not able to sign into any of my Google apps on my new
phone because of this two-step process. I wouldn’t mind the process, but I need
to actually get into what they want.

    Any ideas?

Thanks for any help or advice.

    Jim
