That is a funny statement considering how little Siri can do in so many cases compared to Alexa or google Assistant. Maybe once Matter support really has taken hold with home automation devices this will be possible, but if you own a Nest or Ring doorbell or other camera, a Nest thermostat (or others which support Alexa and/or Google Assistant but not Apple Homekit), you definitely can't just have an Apple Homepod.
