This is the kind of thing that happens when you combine stupid people with too much money. They break things, intentionally. If all of my people were on mastodon, I wouldn’t lay a finger on Twitter anymore. It simply means that apparently Twitter offices will be closed and the only issue which may arise is that if there is a technical issue or outage of some sort that it may have more of an impact because there may not be engineers around to fix it. Elon Musk may be a very difficult human being, but he is apparently a genius and certainly he is no dummy so who knows how this will all play out and what will happen to Twitter say in a year. About 15 employees, many in ad sales, posted their intention to stay at the company.
