Hello, yes you will be able to do three clicks of the power button, and that 
will turn off and on voiceover. On the newer model phones. Secondly, I know how 
you feel about that esses battery. I have the same issue. However, I heard on 
the newer models, you can assign the back tab to do the home gesture and the 
app switcher. So no loss there if I have to upgrade. And as far as the size, I 
will say, they're a little bit wider as in terms of the screen, but they'll 
still easily fit in the hand or a pocket.
And I do recommend, if you're really on for sure of the size, take a trip to 
your local Apple store or your local Verizon store and let him know, that you 
would like to see one of these phones.
