I don’t have the Air Pods 3rd generation, but based on what I remember reading, they have a slightly different shape then the 2nd generation. It’s more like the Air Pod Pros without the silicon inserts. They also now support spatial audio.
The Air Pod Pros, which I do have, have the silicon ear tips, giving you passive noise cancellation. They also have active noise cancellation as well as a transparency mode.
