Joe, why not invest in MBraille as a third-party keyboard. It's easy to use when on the go, has many great functions like being able to send texts and e-mails, and switching back and forth between keyboards is easy. It's certainly worth the $40 or so that it costs to purchase. When I don't have my Braille device with me, MBraille is the only other keyboard to use in my humble opinion. Check it out in the APP in the APP store. You can even download a basic version to play with before deciding to buy it.
