Hi, I needed to do the same, and this morning I found this on internet. I
particularly followed the specific instructions to transfer photos from the
iPhone to a PC running Windows 10 and using the Photos App. It was super easy,
and best of all, and the end a question popped up asking me if I wanted to
delete all photos from the source, and I hit the "yes" button. Just what I
wanted, my gallery is empty now, and I got my photos in my PC Read this:

Don't you use Dropbox or OneDrive? That would be a much easier way especially
to get them onto a PC, just enable camera roll in either Dropbox or OneDrive
and all your photos magically appear on your PC and if you want you can still
move them out of the Dropbox or OneDrive folder especially if you use the free
versions and have limited space.

What I normally do with my photos since I take a lot of pictures when I go on
trips, I email the photos one by one to myself, save them on my computer from
my email, copy paste/cut and paste all the pictures to my flash drive and then
I delete them off my phone. I have a 6S.
