It is hard to explain given the vague explanation. Maybe you can at least provide what exactly you have, you just say "some settings", what exactly does Voiceover read? From time to time a screen comes up in WhatsApp where it asks you to enter your display name and, if you want, attach a profile picture. If that is the screen you simply swipe and find the Done button.
