Did you check your app switcher to see if Safari was opened. I’ve found, for example, that when following a link in a text or email to approve replacement items when shopping through Instacart, Safari gets opened as well as Instacart, and I see it in my app switcher when I go to close things up. If no browser shows as having been opened when you are working in FB, it might be using an embedded browser. I haven’t worked with FB enough directly lately to know for sure myself.
