Open Find my iPhone on your device that you have. If your misplaced device has any charge left, it should show up in the list assuming Find my iPhone was on that phone. Double tap the device. It should tell you how far the device is from you.
Flick right until you get to play a sound and double tap. Your phone should start making noise. Perhaps I should mention that I tried phoning but the call immediately went to the answering system. That would have been the easiest way to locate the phone, but now my only option is find my iPhone. I do have another iPhone although it is a 6.
