Hi Sharon,
You are not alone in this because I have a friend using voiceover who had the same problem. While focused on the message, have you tried turning the rotor to links and then flicking to the link? I had a message on which that method worked, however, I don’t think it was Amazon. By the way I got the tip from this very list. Take care and stay safe! Such messages get sent when Amazon accounts are accessed from unknown devices, and/or when sensitive account areas, E.G., change password, are accessed. Normally, it's just a matter of double tapping the link after which a page appears allowing one to approve or deny the request. On my iPhone SE2 running the current version of iOS, double tapping such links does absolutely nothing. I handed my iPhone to a partially sighted friend, who, after I turned off VoiceOver, was able to activate the link for me. Needless to say, I feel somewhat foolish having successfully used iOS with voiceover for several years and now find myself with a very basic problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
