An option for those who don't want to give Apple more money is to buy an older iPhone, like the 11 series or earlier. When I got the iPhone 11 last fall there was a wall plug in the box. Perhaps as time goes by they will remove those from the older phones too. I don't agree with every change Apple makes either, such as taking away the headphone jack a few years ago. However, I keep buying Apple products because those are the most usable and accessible to me, IMO.
