I’m experienced that iPhones going back to iPhone 4. On my 12 pro max I have literally done this gesture hundreds of times with voiceover on and it does not work. I feel like Apple is not telling us something. I suggest going in and enabling the back tap method for abs switcher and for closing an app. I’m sure this works for earlier phones as others that I know who are blind are able to do it. I’m just talking about the 12 pro and 12 Pro Max phones.
