I strongly recommend Chronoplan for any timer needs. I just realized I had purchased the $2.99 unlock all features on a previous device, but had not needed it for quite a while. In any case, if you only need 4 timers, countdown, or countdown to a date and time, the free version works great! But, if you want more choices of sounds, and the ability to create unlimited timers, the $2.99 is money well spent. You get the count-up function, count-down, function and the ability to count-down to a specific date and time. I should have used this for the lead up to my retirement, grin.
PS, I had written the developer just before writing this to be reminded of what is in the unlocked version, and he replied within 30 minutes. He was glad to hear the VoiceOver support is working fine, and is open for suggestions. I think it works great with VoiceOver.
