I'm running iOS 14.0.1 and I do not have this problem. I use wifi calling as well and all works fine here on my XR. The only issue I have on iOS 14 is the VO focus bug which is a bit annoying. Apart from that iOS 14 is a pretty good release. I always perform a factory reset of my phone when I have strange issues going on and that always resolves most problems. This time I performed a factory reset right after upgrading to iOS 14 just to clean up my phone and apps. As I said all is running smooth on my XR.
