I think it may have something to do with the Alexa part and being able to access it with the microphone. When access to microphone is off, thus not having access to Alexa, all works as it should. When access to microphone is on, then the sound doesn't come out normally.

Hi all,

Maria, I hear exactly what you heard. It does that until I start playing a
song. Once I started playing one song, VoiceOver came back the way it should. I
don't know what happened here.

Kitty,

Like Mary said, you need the Amazon Music app from the app store. Once you
download it, you'll have to sign in with your Amazon email and password. You
then can enjoy the playlists and songs that you have created the your Alexa
device. Hope this helps.

I will definitely report this issue regarding the VoiceOver only being heard
through the top speaker to Amazon.

Thanks,

Jenn

Just today, when I open Amazon music on my iPhone7, I can't hear speech out of
the bottom speaker, but can hear it through the top speaker or whatever that
hole is at the top. I have to mess around with swipes till I get the sound as
it belongs. Any ideas? Thanks.
