Hi Paul, I have smart news installed on my iPhone and iPad. I use it once a while. I have notifications turned off. However, I noticed that any time I double tap on a news headline, it takes me to the website of the headline origin. Some of these websites are accessible and it is easy to read the details pertaining to the selected headline, but at other times the websites are inaccessible and hard to navigate. The app does not extract the details of the headlines and present them to you in an accessible text. I noticed that when the original source of the headline is a TV network, the navigation is harder.
