Screen curtain does nothing to save battery, as
the display is still on, but blacked out for
privacy. Setting brightness to 0 does save battery life.

My first gen SE and my SE 2020, both stay at
zero so long as Screen Curtian is on as well as auto brightness.

Thanks Dave. I went into my settings, and auto
brightness was turned off. But sometimes
brightness moves from zero, anyway. I must make
sure to check it daily just in case.

In the control center, I have brightness set to
zero percent except when sighted assistance is
needed. But, I've noticed lately that I have to
check brightness regularly because it doesn't
always stay at zero. I check it when I think
I'm suddenly using up too much battery life.
Any suggestions for why the brightness would
change without my doing anything to change it?
