Hi Vivian, Try this for a soft reset: Quickly press and release the volume up button, then the volume down button, and then press and hold the power/side switch for about 10 seconds, you'll hear tap to power off, but ignore that and keep holding the power button in. If you have earphones in, you may hear a subtle click sound at which time you can release the button. Otherwise, hold for about 10 seconds before releasing it. Then, wait a couple of minutes and see if the phone restarts. If it doesn't, just plug it in and in a minute it should power up. If that doesn't solve it, then it's time to call Apple Accessibility.
