Hi Dani,

Yeah the fit bit works in conjunction with an app on a phone be it an iPhone or
similar smart phone.

The apple watch is again working with an app from your iPhone that allows you
to set alarms etc and haptic feedback is what does the vibration side of things.

I will say though that I do some times miss the haptic feedback / vibrations
from my watch,

And the sensitivity is up high,

I'm assuming I've gotten use to it but everyone is very different so still look
these things up as they may be useful.

Good luck with your search.

Thanks so much, Everybody. I'll talk with him about all of your suggestions. I
wasn't sure how Fitbit or the Apple Watch worked, so wasn't sure it could be
used as a temporary, or even permanent solution. We're at the place where he
has to see an ENT to find out why the hearing loss is occurring. We're trying
to figure out how to adjust, and I'm sure your suggestions will help us move
forward and not feel, at least on my part, stuck and helpless.

More Later,
Dani
