Try going to settings/Siri and search/
Then go down to siri voice and double click on it. There you can select the
language and gender.

American Female that seems to be the problem. It was with the last
update that some of us are having a problem with that. I changed it to
the male American Apple had suggested to the other person to change it to
a British voice. So it’s up to you but whatever when you change it and it
should work. Apparently with the next update this should be resolved.
