To increase the amount of time your watch will stay awake, go to general, swipe to the right until you get to wake screen and double tap on that. The choices are 15 seconds and 70 seconds. Double tap on the one you want. I am using a series 3 watch. I don't know what your version is. I forgot to say you go to the watch app on your phone to make these changes. I can't answer your other questions but if you have others, just ask and either someone else or myself can try to help you.I never have regretted buying an apple watch. Eventually hope to get the latest and greatest.
