hi, Joshua, I have the AirPods Pro, and I keep them on noise cancellation, because when I'm doing such things as running water and other extraneous noise that would interfere with my listening to my book or music etc., I could concentrate on the book much better. I really love them, because the sound is superb when you're playing music. I find that it adds a good deal of both bass and treble. Esther
