Yes sound files are picked alright. The thing is fibration patterns since I tend to mute the phone and turn VoiceOver speech off, when watching or listening to Media content on the phone. Thanks for the idea of contacting Whatsapp about this. Seems to me that Whatsapp on the competition is more open, since I heard from blind Android users who are able to set up different vibration patterns on Whatsapp, for contacts. Enviado desde Correo para Windows 10 De: Richard Turner First, it is a three finger double tap to mute VoiceOver speech. I do not use WhatsApp, but in the notification settings for WhatsApp, you should be able to pick a unique sound file. If not, then you need to contact the WhatsApp developer. The text message settings in contacts are only for native Apple apps, so it makes perfect sense why it doesn't work for Whatsapp. That is what the notification settings are for.
