Yes,
Open the email, double tap on the from address.
Then, for some reason you have to double tap on it again.
Then, flick right until you get to block contact and double tap.
Then, double tap on block contact to confirm.

"He that cannot forgive others breaks the bridge over which he must pass
himself,” and we forget that only grace can break the cycle of ancient hatreds
among peoples. (It is notable that while I have regretted not granting grace to
others, I’ve never once regretted extending it.)" - Edward Herbert

Subject: Can You Block Unwanted Email?

Can you block unwanted email? I believe a friend of mine got scammed or
something else but anyway, I removed her email address from my address book and
I still get email saying it's from her and it has a link they want you to go to
but of course, I don't. I have it going to junk email but I noticed I'm getting
at least one everyday.
