Apple does offer an Apple Care plan, that covers your breakage of your phone, and it lasts for two years. The regular Apple Care is just too answer questions when you are having trouble with your phone

If that's the case, it won't end at a specific time. If it is Apple Care, maybe your carrier offers an insurance plan you can use after it ends.
