I have trained myself, not without some considerable effort to accept Karen's
mispronunciations, when she pronounces similar words correctly. For Instance,
she will not say chess: it is always chis, while chest is chest, not chist:
confess is confess, not confiss. comedy/comic: she insists on pronouncing as
if it were spelled with an a r, not an o m. We are but pawns: a piece that is
to be found in the game of chiss, who must accept what is dealt unto us by a
dumb robot!!!

Allison speaks any word similar to peace as peas, no matter what you do.
The US English Siri pronounces those words correctly.
Others do as well I'm sure.
So, if you stick with Allison there is nothing you can do.
