Thanks Richard and Jennie for the helpful hints. I just may be writing too fast. It's easy to forget that we're using Braille devices with Perkins-style keyboards, but not awesome Lerkins Braillers. The spacing issue doesn't happen with every single word, and I'll just try writing more slowly and deliberately.
