As Richard has already stated, I've primarily used the iOS native Mail app with my iPhone for the past seven years. I've really enjoyed its use but since iOS 13.x, have not enjoyed the native Mail app's inability to maintain focus on the email message I'm on when another message comes in or I drill down on a thread or message to read it. I've started using Outlook for iOS and have made it my primary mail client on my SE 2020 for about a week and expect I'll continue with it. I don't recall reading in this thread what particularly you're trying to do with an iOS mail client that you've been unsuccessful with so far. Perhaps you can provide some more details and someone can assist.
