I have both, there is nothing I like better about the original airpods than the newer Pro model. 1. Better sound (hard to tell if that's due to different transducers or the better seal; in any event better ;> 2. Stay in better, there's really nothing worse than having an ear bud fall out in heavy traffic areas. 3. Aftermarket memory foam (takes the place of the factory silicone) are comfortable and available. 4. Transparent mode provides better situational awareness than the original. Active noise reduction + the limited acoustic isolation is very helpful in noisy environments 5. Wireless case charging is a nice touch, but not a compelling feature in and of itself. Well, I suppose there is one slightly better thing; the *shape* of the original case fits into some of my pockets better. -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
