Carolyn, we could write off list about this, but there's some discouragingaspects about the kyozera phones, that might be what your friend is havingtrouble with. As far as I know the cadence and the dura xv are set up prettymuch the same way that I could point out to you. I wish that verizon wasstill selling the lg exalt, which is a whole lot better, but of course youcould still text with the cadence and the dura xv. I did find out thatthere's a new dura xv extreme so I don't know if some areas of the text tospeech were improved. I hope i could get to see it in the store some timesoon. Esther, possibly someone may have answered your question already about thekyosera dura xv which is a flip phone, it's one of the more rugged flipphones that costs about $264. and it's amoungst some other phones that arequite accessible with the text to speech. Especially when it comes towriting texts, emails, and writing in the notepade since you could easilyget to the options for the lower case letters, upper case letters, for thesymbols, and numbers.I have the cadence, another flip phone made by kyozera and never had anyloss of contacts.As far as our iPhones, they each have 300 contacts and never lost any of thecontacts.

To get the first name first, I went to Contacts in Settings, and I think thelast entry was where I set them. There were two parts to it, and I think Ihad to experiment to get it right. Fortunately, when I got my new phone,everything imported like I had it.

I like first name first as well. I've also heard different theories on howmany contacts you should have on your phone. Someone told me you should onlyhave 100, well others said you could have as many as possible. I would liketo know what you folks think. Some of my disappear and I have to re-enterthem.   That setting is under settings, contacts.

Do you want it to alphabetize by last name, but show first then last inthe list?

  That used to be the default, but check in your settings to be sure.
