I don't think credit cards are supported as funding sources for Apple Pay. Your debit card is tied more directly to your bank account which is why I think they are supported. At any rate, I'm glad you were successful. It worked fine. I could only use my debit card. It wouldn’t accept my Wells Fargo credit card with no explanation as to why. But it does work so I’m good.
