I hope some kind soul can help me with this problem. I had an iPhone 7 and I decided to upgrade it. so I transferred all my data to the new phone and then put my cim in it and it works fine. I have given the old phone to a friend who transfered her data to it which went fine but when she put her sim in it it told her that she needed a number to unlock the phone. my problem is I don’t know who has to get the number to unlock her phone me or her providers. hope that makes sense to someone.
