II wouldn’t be at all surprised if Apple would discontinue the iPhone 8 this year, but usually that happens in September. In any case, there is nothing wrong with waiting another 3 weeks or so, by then at least we would hear rumours or Apple probably would have confirmed if the iPhone SE 2 is coming and I don’t think you’ll have any problems finding an iPhone 8 for months to come as there should be lots of them in stores and the supply chain.
