If you can get your hands on not one, but two working BrailleEdge 40's try to
get them both! I'm writing back to you using my BrailleEdge 40, and I love it
to the max! I use it all the time, for writing, for reading, for texting, for
everything!!! In 2013, I suffered what is commonly called Sudden Sensory
Neural Hearing Loss, in the blink of an eye, losing my left ear. My partner
took her tax refund and bought me a BrailleEdge 40. Hims Inc will still
service the BrailleEdge even though they've stopped making them. A year ago,
when my unit required maintenance, the turn-around time from Hims, INC was
quick and efficient. Fearful of ever being without braille again, I purchased
a second device. I'm not greedy, just wanting to have Braille always at my
fingertips. So grab one or both of those BrailleEdges if you have money and
opportunity. My name and phone number's in the signature of this response, and
I'll gladly offer assistance in how to use the unit.

Peace & Blessings,
Duane L. Steele
