Just a quick one, I’ve read that having Bluetooth and WiFi enabled or your device whilst using maps can vastly improve location services as the iPhone can communicate with local WiFi networks and Bluetooth beacons to more accurately find your position.
It will not work in every situation however you may find better results by leaving them switched on in control centre.
