Improved battery life and the much more powerful chip (more performance at less power) probably has more long term impact than the better cameras (although the better camera contributes to faster facial recognition). Folks that aren't focused on picture taking probably want to hold off on upgrading though. I *suspect* that later iOS releases might leverage that extra processing power for things useful in assistive modes ... but they didn't discuss anything in that area today.
