A double tap and hold works for me in the Mail app to bring up a menu including
copy. I just did this and here are the options I get:

Open
Add to reading list
Copy
Share
Cancel
At the very top before open the actual URL is read out, the link on which I did
the double tap and hold was actually the name of a product with the actual link
hidden.
When I found the link by touch, i.e. dragging my finger around the screen
instead of swiping, and then did a force touch I got “Preview” and that has
rotor options, a swipe down gave me “Preview Actios” and double tapping on that
gives me also the same options above which I got with a double tap and hold. If
you press to hard, however, the link just opens in Safari.

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: What is the fastest way to copy a URL link from an email for pasting
to the Podcasts app?

Hi List,

I'm working with a list of URL podcast feed links in an email for which I'm
seeking the fastest way to copy a specific link in order to paste it to the
native Podcasts app in order to manually subscribe to the feed. I'm running iOS
12.2 on an iPhone 8 and am using the standard Mail app. I know the links in the
source email are complete and unbroken but I'm unaware of a gesture to make it
easy to copy a URL link. I would have thought by this point that one could give
a link focus and do a gesture such as a double tap and hold or a single finger
swipe that would present a menu allowing you to copy it. I have been
unsuccessful when attempting this and also when trying to share one of these
podcast links. Be aware that these are nonstandard podcast feeds which aren't
available when searching in the usual manner in a podcast app or when browsing
podcasts that have gone through the Apple podcast registration process.

Any help directing me on the easiest way to copy a URL for pasting would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
