Which beta did you install? Follow the link I sent for the scanner app. Or search for Voice Dream Scanner beta and follow the link you find that says something about join the beta ... It is in public beta, so anyone can test it and give him feedback. If you also install the Voice Dream Reader beta, you will be able to choose Scanner from the Add dialog in VDR. Here is the latest info from Testflight which you have to have installed in order to use the betas but it is free in the app store. I've tested the app quite a bit in the two days I've known about it and it blows everything else out of the water. There is one very annoying thing in beta 3 that I've asked him to disable, but if Edge Detection is on, there is a constant tone playing that is truly annoying. It doesn't say below, but you can use the up volume button to capture the image. Saving as PDF is not only fully accessible, but it retains any images in the document. At this point, unless I can convince him to charge more, he is thinking of charging $5.00 for the app. I think it is worth much more.
