I thought I remembered that you had to do that scanning of the screen. I did hold the new phone with the back camera facing to the screen on the old phone for a while. But I don’t know maybe I didn’t do it long enough. Nothing like that is stated on that help the screen if that’s what it is that gives you the choice of either manual or QuickStart. If that’s really important, it seems like they should say to do that rather than just say put the phones near each other which is in fact with they do say. Mary
