When edge moves around in your ear that’s what triggers the sensors in the conversation will cut out and go to your phone. I think you hold in the large button and the little rectangle button on your phone itself while turning on the power and that should turn your sensors off. Hope this helps. Also sometimes when I turn it on it seems about three times as long before it says “Power on, talk time...” If I stop a book or other audio events for a long phone conversation, the resume does not work reliably and I have to pull out the IPod and double tap the play button. This is annoying when I am doing other things. There are other little minor issues occasionally but I expect those so I am not bothered with them. But it is sometimes less than fun to put up with. However I love the fact that it pairs with two devices at the same time and switches back and forth pretty reliably. I also love the small form factor and incredibly light weight. I can almost forget I have it on my ear. But it is aging and I would like to know how the Plantronics Legend compares.
