If you don't want to call, just hear the number, you can ask Siri, What is Jane's phone number, and it will read it then offer to call probably. If you just want to review it with VoiceOver, you can right flick with one finger until you get to it, then use the rotor and turn it to characters, and then flick down with one finger to go digit by digit.
