I had a look just now and when I first opened Skype, tapped the Calls tab at the bottom and then on “Use DialPad the dial pad was perfectly fine except I had to double or split tap the numbers. I was also able to dial numbers during my call, again I had to split or double tap them. Then I closed Skype and opened it again and now the dial pad just said all the numbers at once and it seemed not accessible. Very strange. I really wish Microsoft had left Skype alone, I still use it a bit if I have to call an actual landline or mobile in Germany since their subscription is super cheap, but I have the people I need to call pinned to my history so that is easy enough. Apart from that I rarely ever make a Skype to Skype call any more, in Germany everybody and their dog uses Whats App and it’s much easier and user friendlier to text, voice chat or make audio or video calls with it.
Regards, Sieghard From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Cristóbal Sent: Thursday, January 11, 2018 9:20 AM To: [email protected] Subject: iOS Skype dialpad Hello list, So I wanted to make an actual phone call through my Skype account on my iPhone (I have a paid telephone number). I hadn’t done this in forever and after familiarizing myself with the app again, I noticed that the dialpad doesn’t seem to be accessible with VoiceOver. Like I said, I hadn’t used it to make a call in forever so I don’t know if this is a recent issue or if it’s been something that’s been around for a while. Might there be some sort of configuration setting within the iOS app that can address this or is it really just wait until an update comes out that will hopefully fix it?
