Hello Tara, Somewhere in your Twitter account settings, which you may access from either within the Twitter app or from a web browser, you can select to disable Twitter recommendations. It may take a bit of digging, but, the option is definitely there.

I use twitter only on iphone and very sparingly. I feel assaulted several times by Twitter sending messages like one below my mail. I follow CNN Msnbc, and some other non-conservative media groups and journalists. I used to follow Fox but couldn't tolerate them for long and I do not follow them now. Yet, everytime Twitter sends me this recommendations, they send some atrocious suggestions from my perspective. If they are profiling me, they shold know by now that I do not like to follow bigotry hypocrisy. Is there a way to disable these emails which suggestions? I cannot completely block twitter emails as sometimes they contain information about notifications which I am interested in. Please let me know if something can be done about this.
