Yesterday afternoon we had an Amber alert issued in our area. I think
that it turned out ok because there has been no more about it on the
news. But two things happened after this alert. My battery began to
drain quickly and the stand by time matched the usage time when I woke
up this morning even though I didn't touch the phone for several hours.
So I restarted the phone three times and the alert and sound came back
each time. I cleared all notifications and it's still coming back with
each restart. When this alert went off for the first time I was in the
other room and wasnt near the phone. Any suggestions how to get it to
stop coming up? This battery drain happened after the alert and I
haven't installed anything new on my phone or even used it very much.
And nothing is showing up under battery usage using abnormal battery.
I've never had an alert hang around like this. And we get plenty of
weather alerts during the spring when the storms are around more.
