you can certainly register what'sApp with a text now number, should you
be paranoid like I am. you just download text now, get a number, then
verify with what'sApp, and get what'sApp to call you with the
verification code, and there you go. and no, this is not, to my
knowledge, illegal.

I finally got around to setting it up on my device just now. its fairly simple,
but it does require you have a phone number. My other iPhone doesn't have a
phone number associated with it, so setup might be a tad more involved there.

you open it everything is very straight forward. You select your country, enter phone
