Here are some of the reasons I like Writer over other writing apps. 1. It was written for a visually impaired audience so the accessibility is excellent. 2. You can use the markup language to format documents. 3. With a formatted document, you can move whole sections easily, like cut and paste a paragraph very simply. You can export to RTF or Word with the formatting. I could go on about the spell checker, dictionary, etc., but I won't. Plus, right now it is 70 percent off so, $2.99 instead of $9.99. If you get it, read the manual carefully, and possibly more than once. HTH, Richard
